  • The 90mm tubular or clincher is an ideal wheel for events like time trial or triathlon where aerodynamics are most important. Ever do a time trial, go as hard as you could go, and lose to somebody by a few seconds? Now you can do something about that with our most aerodynamic wheel ever! Since the 90mm is such a deep wheel it can be susceptible to heavy crosswinds although the design of the rim shape really makes crosswind handling better than wheels much shallower. A 23mm tire will handle in crosswinds much better than a 25mm tire. For events like longer distance triathlons, pairing a rear 90mm with a front 60mm can be the perfect set up!
  • The 60mm tubular and clincher is the wheel set that I personally use in about 95% of my races. Any time the speeds are higher, and aerodynamics becomes more of a concern, the 60mm gives a distinct advantage. Flat to rolling road races, crits, time trials, and tris; if you are looking for a combination of good crosswind handling and very good aerodynamics, the 60mm is a perfect option. The new 60mm rims are designed around 25mm tires to give the best handling, lower rolling resistance, and improved feel due to more air volume and the ability to run lower PSI. Relocated bearings, and a new freehub seal reduce freehub drag while coasting. The Torch road hubs now feature custom Teflon contact seals for the endcaps, which we manufacture in-house. They fully seal the hubs from mud and water - tight enough for a muddy CX season, but smooth enough for drag-free road miles. Available in 10 different colors and multiple drilling options.
