Q: How do I choose the right spoke length?

Choosing the correct spoke length is critical for a safe and properly tensioned wheel. You’ll need: Hub measurements (flange diameter, spacing) Rim ERD (Effective Rim Diameter) Lacing pattern (e.g., 2-cross, 3-cross) How to get the right length: Use a spoke length calculator Input your hub and rim specs Select your lacing pattern Key tips: Even a 1–2 mm error can cause issues Too short → weak engagement Too long → can bottom out or damage the rim If you’re unsure, it’s always best to double-check measurements or consult a trusted wheel building resource before ordering.

Q: What is spoke prep and do I need it?

Spoke prep is a compound applied to spoke threads before building a wheel. It acts as both a lubricant during assembly and a mild thread locker once it dries. Benefits of spoke prep: Helps achieve more consistent spoke tension Reduces the risk of spokes loosening over time Prevents corrosion between spokes and nipples Do you need it? Yes, for most builds —especially performance, touring, or high-load wheels Optional for very basic or temporary builds Many professional wheel builders consider spoke prep an essential step for improving long-term wheel stability and reliability.

Q: If I return product how much time do I have and when do I receive a credit for my return?

You have 30 Calendar days to return your product for refund. Shipping charges will not be included. If there was a mistake on our part we will exchange your product or give you a full refund. Shipping charges will be included. After 30 Calendar days a refund will not apply. You will receive a store credit. Product must be received in new condition for a full refund minus shipping fees. Returned Product is subject to a 20% restocking fee and it must be returned in new and unused condition.

Q: What are your hours of business?

We are open Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm Pacific Standard time. Closed all major Holidays.

Q: Can I pick up my order at your facility?

Orders can be picked up on a will call bases. You will be notified Via Email or phone when your order is complete. There is no charge for handling on order for pick up. When your order is placed you will be charged for shipping, but in the note please specify order is for pick-up then we will issue a refund for shipping when your order is picked up at our facility.

Q: Can I request express overnight or second day shipping?

All orders in the US Continental will be shipped Ground unless you specify Overnight or Express Shipping. All International order will ship Express.
